Back when I was in Zalando as Head of Product in marketplaces, I got an opportunity to speak at Productized Lisbon talks at the Farfetch offices.
Not being a regular speaker (although that is the plan for 2020), I was wondering what topic would most appeal to an audience of a product roundtable. So I looked at my past and tried to put together my experiences across 3 continents - US with eBay, India with Flipkart and Europe with Zalando.
Each experience taught me different things, it helped me to unlearn and re-learn which is so vital to being a successful Product manager. The companies and the culture are also different which means you have to adapt your working style to the organization and in some ways even question the status quo to change the game.
